What is a top-level domain (TLD)?
The TLD is the ending of a domain name, such as .com or .co.uk. Generic TLDs (gTLDs) such as .com and .org are open to anyone; country-code TLDs (ccTLDs) such as .co.uk or .ng represent a country and sometimes carry eligibility rules.
Which domain extension should I choose?
Start with .com if the name is free. Add the country-code ending for each market you serve, and consider a descriptive ending such as .co or .space when it fits the brand.
Are renewal prices the same as registration prices?
Not always. Some registries charge more at renewal, so the table lists registration, transfer and renewal separately.
Can I transfer an existing domain to TK WebHosts?
Yes. Most extensions transfer with an authorisation code from the current registrar; the transfer price shown normally adds a year to the registration.
Is privacy protection included?
Privacy options differ by registry. Each extension page states whether privacy protection is available, and the portal shows the price of any add-on before checkout.
How quickly is a domain active after purchase?
Most registrations complete within minutes of payment. DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate worldwide.
